Breaking up a project into hundreds of small components isn’t everyone’s idea of fun, but when you can do this without having hundreds of ends to weave in when they’re all finished is this designers’ heaven. The Tessellated Tee is a lightweight sleeveless top is made entirely from tunisian entrelac squares in a top down construction. Entrelac is very addictive and rather mindless to make… but OH BOY is it versatile, flexible and perfect for wearables! This is a project you can have fun with – inject colour in random places and you’ll have a top that will always be a head-turner.
This pattern comes in 10 adult sizes - XS to 6XL. Modifications are included in the pattern to mould each make to each body.
This pattern includes video tutorials for how to make the differently constructed squares and triangles as well as some video tips for achieving a professionally finished Tessellated Tee.

The pattern sample was made using Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles 2 x 100g skeins in ‘Bubble’ (100g = 360m) and Squiggle Yarn Co sock in ‘Shining Brightly’ (40g [100g = 425m]), stitch markers. Tools required: 6mm standard crochet hook (adjust to achieve gauge), darning needle for sewing in any ends.
