Description
Since taking up Tunisian crochet, I had yet to design a wearable garment and I figured a classic 4-panel sweater was the best place to start. Because this sweater is worked flat, you can use straight Tunisian hooks to work this, but if you have a set of interchangeable Tunisian hooks I recommend using those since they tend to be easier on the wrists and hands. The stitch used to work the main part of the panels looks a lot like Moss/Linen stitch in regular crochet but is worked with a Tunisian hook. It's made up of just two basic Tunisian stitches which makes for a very meditative stitch pattern that's beginner-friendly. As for the yarn, I used Noro Miyabi which unfortunately is now discontinued, but you can use any similar yarn to make this sweater, and I highly recommend that you use variegated yarn for a fun, striped look.
