If you want your sweater to be less oversize or more oversize, you can increase or decrease ensuring you have an even number of chains.
You can easily make the sweater shorter or longer by adding more rows in multiples of 2 before tying it off on the body or sleeves. Be sure to add the same number of rows to the back panel. Take into account that you will need extra yarn.

The ch 1 at the beginning of the row counts as the 1st sc unless stated.
