Description
I started designing this bear when I wanted to make something very fast and simple for my family to take with them when they go over seas. I tried things where you had to make the arms or legs separately and then sew them on, but I ultimately decided that was too much. In the end, I decided to make a no-sew bear, which I decided was easy to make, yet still very charming and cute!
This bear whips up very quickly, taking me about 45 minutes (and I'm not super fast at crocheting if I do say so myself!) This bear is also relatively easy, with there being only single crochet, increase, decrease, and a few bobble stitches. The hardest part for me is trying to embroider the nose! Also, it is not subjected to just a chenille yarn try it with whatever you want! Just note that your hook size will need to change depending on what yarn you use.
Hopefully, if you try this pattern, you will enjoy the process and receive some joy from this little, baby bear!

What materials are needed for The Basic Baby Bear?
To make The Basic Baby Bear you will need: Sweet Snuggles Lite Yarn by Loops & Threads (this is my preferred, but you can use whatever yarn you like!), Black embroidery floss, Darning needle, Stitch marker (highly recommend), 8 mm safety eyes (if you are making this for a young child, you could substitute the hard eyes with felt or embroidered eyes. As well, you can use smaller eyes if you are making it smaller).
