Part of my Basic Collection, this very beginner washcloth pattern is an easy way to start using and practicing your crochet skills.

This pattern includes Chains and single crochet.

Any worsted weight cotton yarn or weight 4 Cotton yarn, such as Lily and Creme, Peaches and Cream or I Love This Cotton is used in this pattern.

Please use a 5.00mm/H hook, as this hook size is recommended for weight 4 yarn.

Washcloth comes in one size and measurements of finish pieces are an approximation.

When comfortable, you can make your own size by adjusting the starting Chains and how many rows you make!

Since this is a beginner pattern, there will be no swatch gauge. Your finished piece will solely depend on your tension. You may change your hook size for future makes if you wish, but that will also change your finished piece size.

Please note: There will be a spot at the end of the pattern that will have you check your measurements to make sure your washcloth is a square.
