Welcome to my sixth pattern - The Capstone Cup Cozy!

This pattern will be perfect for you if you are an adventurous or ambitious beginner.

This is a sister pattern to the Oceans Summit Earwarmer. Perfect for keeping your hands from burning when holding a mug or cup - also cute and environmentally friendly. No more need for cardboard at Starbucks or any other coffee shop. Small enough to fit in a pocket or purse to take with you anywhere you go so you are always prepared! Do not use acrylic yarn if you plan to use this cup cozy around a drink over 200 degrees.

This is a One Size pattern but it can be adjusted for any cup by doing more or less repeats.

Recommended Yarn:
100% cotton yarn is recommended if using this cup cozy around hot drinks but any worsted weight yarn would work well for this pattern. I used Peaches & Cream cotton yarn and Sugar & Cream cotton yarn.

MATERIALS:
Yarn Weight 4 - Worsted - a rough estimate is 20 - 40 yards
Yarn needle and scissors to cut off and sew in ends.
Hook that corresponds with the gauge.
Tape measure.
Stitch markers (optional).
