Description
This sweater pattern is designed to be straightforward and quick to make. It is made in the round and slip stitched it join with ribbing at the cuffs. The pattern has a slight positive ease, with a boxy, slightly oversized look! Its made mainly worked in double crochet. This sweater is oversize and is suitable for beginners familiar with basic crochet terms.
As each round is joined with a slip stitch, this provides the opportunity for as many colour changes as possible for some variety if you wish.
The sweater can be made longer by adding additional rows before the neckline splitting" section. Be sure to add the same number of rows to the back panel. Please consider that you will need extra yarn, if increasing the rows.
This pattern is worked from the bottom up in working in rounds, with minimal seaming. The sleeves are made separately and attached using a slip stitch.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The CH 1 does not count as a stitch.
The CH 2 at the beginning of the row counts as the 1st DC, and the last DC of the row is worked on top of the CH 2 from the previous rows.
There are two sleeve options. One has a ribbed cuff and one has a straight sleeve.
The Paint Box Simply Aran Yarn, I used slightly little thin, and a DK yarn could be used as a substitute.
Ensure you leave a long tail for seaming.
