Description
I am happy to introduce you to my first ever crochet clothing pattern, The Little Peplum Halter Top!
This top is made to size, so there are no specifics for small, medium, large, etc. Instead, you will use a measuring tape to determine your size. For this reason you can use any yarn or hook combination. The pattern includes sizing recommendations depending on if you plan to use yarn with a lot of stretch or no stretch at all. The pattern includes how to determine your measurement.
I attached the PDF of the pattern in the "Size" section. Since the pattern is fit to size there are no exact rows to keep track of because that part is up to you! The number of rows I included is just to accommodate the Ribblr format.
Materials: yarn (260-500 yards), crochet hook, darning needle, scissors, stitch markers, measuring tape
Skill: advanced beginner
Special stitches (explained in the pattern): stacked single crochet, crossed double crochet, v cluster
The pattern is worked from the top down. You start with the piece around your bust worked in rows, then join together for the peplum piece that is worked in rounds. Straps are added directly to the piece to prevent extra sewing. The back is secured with a chain tie.
The pattern includes examples of what the example top (first image) used as well as insights from testers. The pattern went through 10 weeks of testing since it is my first clothing pattern. If you notice any errors with the pattern or are having trouble following any part, please feel free to reach out.
The buyer is not permitted to sell, copy, or distribute this pattern in any form. The buyer is permitted to sell finished products created from this pattern, but must give pattern credit to The Yarn Arts.
If you need further assistance with this pattern or have any questions, please feel free to contact me on Etsy, through Instagram messaging, or via email at theyarnarts@gmail.com.
I would be happy to see finished results! You may share finished results via email, Etsy messaging, Instagram (@theyarnarts), Facebook (@theyarnarts), or Ravelry.
I have to thank my amazing testers for their patience, help, and support! I could not fit images of all tester projects, but each came out so unique! Images of each tester’s project is included in the pattern. You can also visit my Instagram @theyarnarts to see the full tester images!
