The NANA Sweater - Full Pattern

Crochet ePattern
|
Intermediate
$13.00
Description
After a year since I completed the original NANA sweater piece, I'm finally selling the full pattern!
It is complete with the original Nana and Hachi colorwork charts used to create the front and back panels fitting up to size M-L, the colorwork charts in a larger size fitting up to 3XL, instructions for how to create your own colorwork charts, how to use the colorwork charts, as well as how to construct the sweater and makeup the sleeves.
NOTE: I firmly believe this pattern is best suited for an intermediate level crocheter. Techniques include: advanced beginner crochet stitches, gauge swatching, light hand sewing, embroidery, quite a bit of math involving fractions and multiplication, and intarsia crochet. The sleeve portion of this pattern is a bit math heavy as well, involving fractions and multiplication.
If you'd like any help at all, don't hesitate to contact me @mahalmadeco through Instagram, email, or here on my Ribblr!

Materials
Yarns
For my original NANA sweater, I used Big Twist Value in White and Black.
I used 4 skeins of white and 3 skeins of black to fit me as a size XS-S. Since I made a smaller size, I recommend this amount of yarn at minimum!
Hooks
4 mm crochet hook (This may differ depending on your tension in order to match the 18 x 18 over 4” swatch.
Needles
Tapestry Needle
I recommend having a regular size for the sewing portions, as well as a slightly smaller size for the embroidery parts of the pattern.
