materials:
worsted weight yarn.
For heart color I used Craftsmart Value in color Blush approx. 60 yards
For main color I used Impeccable in color Pale Gray approx. 290 yards
size US 7 (4.5mm) crochet hook
tapestry needle
stitch markers for strap placement

dimensions:
9"x8" with a 17 inch strap measured from the shoulder to the bag & 2.5 inch base
gauge:
9 hdc x 6 rows = 2inches

abbreviations:
ch: chain
ss: slip stitch
st: stitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
hdc inc: 2 hdc in one stitch
bo: bobble stitch

special stitches:
bobble stitch: yarn over, insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over & draw up the loop, pull through 2 loops on hook. repeat the previous step 3 more times in the same stitch. you should have 5 loops on your hook. yarn over and pull through all 5.
5 sc together: insert hook into next stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop - repeat this over the next 4 stitches. Yarn over & pull through all 6 loops on hook - (image 1)

notes & tips:
turning chains do not count as stitches
Bobbles should face away from you while you’re working on them and face you when you’re working on the hdcs.
All pictures are on pages 3-6 for those who like to print the pattern, but don’t want to waste ink on pictures!
