Description
Though spiders can have a bad reputation, this one just wants to be your friend. Perfect size to sit on a desk or shelf, or for little hands to hold. Its features are kept simple in Waldorf inspired style to spark the imagination and open the door to creative play. It makes for a great quick gift (the first one I made was for a five year old's birthday presentit was definitely a hit!) or just as perfect as a gift to yourself.
The Spider pattern has been written for holding two strands of fine/2 size yarn together, but can also be made with worsted weight if you'd prefer not to mix two colours together. Being amigurumi, as long as you use a hook size to maintain tight stitches with no gaps it can easily be switched out to a different size -- you'll just end up with a smaller or bigger friend depending on which you use!
This pattern has step by step instructions so you can get your Spider just right, and includes thirteen colour photos so you can keep on track. The download also comes with a black and white printer friendly version in case screens aren't your thing. It has been written with advanced beginners in mind, but there's nothing like learning as you go if you aren't there yet and just want to jump in!
I can't wait to see your Little Spider stitched to life <3
