Description
Show your support for queer people with a handmade bandana of the transgender flag! This product is a digital product only. This means you will receive written instructions on how to crochet this bandana. The instructions are written in standard American crochet terms. You will get an interactive pattern and a PDF-version.
The Trans Rights Bandana crochet pattern is more than just a creative project: it's a tangible way to support the trans community. Trans communities across the globe are currently facing heightened social and legislative challenges. In numerous countries, trans individuals encounter increasing barriers to healthcare, legal recognition, and public safety. In many U.S. states, gender-affirming care for youth has been restricted or banned, and trans people continue to experience disproportionately high rates of violence, discrimination, and mental health distress. Whether you're wearing your finished piece in pride or gifting it to someone you care about, know that your contribution directly supports trans advocacy.
If you want to donate to a charity directly, you can through the following link: translifeline.org/
The Trans Rights Bandana is made with a beginner friendly pattern, as you only need to know the following stitches:
- magic ring
- chain
- slip stitch
- single crochet
- double crochet
- treble crochet
The materials you need:
- Fine weight yarn in light pink, light blue and white
- A 3 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- A darning needle
If you use fine weight yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook, the width of the base will be around 53 cm and the length will be around 25 cm. The strings will be around 45 cm each. Of course you can use different yarn and a different crochet hook, but the bandana will be a different size then. You can add or remove rows, as all rows are the same except you make them in different colors.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD PRODUCT ONLY! You will not receive a physical item or endproduct.
This pattern is written in American crochet terms. All rights reserved. The finished project may be reproduced and sold as long as you add a link to this pattern when selling the finished product online. You may not sell or give away this pattern! Thank you:)
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message me. I would be happy to help:)
