The Velvety Dreams Baby Blanket

This is a pattern for a velvety soft, squishy, and unique baby blanket. The feel is irresistible and ideal for the year round use. With a simple stitch pattern and easy repeat, this pattern works up quickly and is fuss free. This would be a great gift for a newborn baby or toddler, baby shower, or even to keep for yourself!


Pattern is written in standard American terms and includes an abbreviation key and a material list. This is an intermediate beginner crochet pattern. A knowledge of basic crochet skills and terms is a plus.

Hook: 5mm
Gauge: 4" = 14 sts x 10 rows in stitch pattern
Size: 35" x 36"

Pattern calls for Bernat Baby Velvet yarn but any Medium-4 weight yarn can be used.
