Description
Say hello to Tina the Triceratops. She has a magnificent frill and three impressive horns. Tina is very sweet and loves to play with her dinosaur friends and loves nothing more than a big cuddle with her mum. This dinosaur is made as one piece from her neck to her toes, so no fiddly legs to sew on, and she can easily stand alone.
This is an intermediate/advanced level pattern, some crochet knowledge is required. Not recommended for complete beginners, but the pattern does include detailed step by step instructions and pictures to help you.
Using the materials suggested the triceratops measures 19cm tall. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished dinosaur. Suggested materials: 4ply 100% cotton yarn, 2.5mm crochet hooks, toy stuffing and 8mm safety eyes.
Please always check materials and current safety standards before giving to a small child.
I would love to see your finished dinosaur, please message me or tag me on facebook or Instagram @smileycrochetthings so I can see your pictures. If you need any assistance or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
