French fries are marvelous, there are so many ways to enjoy them! My favorite is with ketchup, or sweet potato fries with honey mustard dipping sauce. Boardwalk style "chips" with salt and vinegar are tasty, too. Stitch up your favorite combo for a fun toy, keychain, or ornament.

Two options for fries: made all in one piece so you can add a little stuffing and sew to the container (or keep fries separate for a pull apart toy) OR make fries individually for an interactive play food.

This small project works up in about an hour. Low-sew with just a few stitches to shape and attach fries. Measures about 2 1/2" tall in medium worsted weight (4) and 3.5 mm hook. Adaptable to any yarn from thread to super bulky. Pattern has been tested and includes detailed photos.
