Materials
Yarns
Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn. I used the blue-green color for the head. Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn. I used the color baby teal for the body. Mainstays Acrylic Yarn in black is also needed, but only if you are hand-sewing the eyes like I did. This item is optional.
Hooks
You‘ll need a 6.5 mm hook for this project.
Needles
You will also need a yarn needle or a tapestry needle. If you use a yarn needle, I highly recommend a metal one. Plastic needles bend inside the project, and are much harder to use for this. If you use a tapestry needle, use one with a blunt tip so you don‘t split the yarn.
Tools
Make sure you have a good pair of scissors. Baby blanket yarn is thick and needs bigger scissors to cut it. Tiny thread scissors will struggle to cut this yarn.
