If you lived in through the 80's and 90's there's a good chance you saw those dolls that covered toilet paper rolls as part of home décor, much like the Tuscany kitchens of the 2000's.

Now, after growing up with some cute yet creepy baby faced flowers in my parent's bathrooms, I'm not one for this trend. But everyone can still use a solution to their exposed toilet paper rolls. In comes the toilet paper roll cover!

A quick project, this can be whipped up in an afternoon and personalized through color and stitch texture. It could be easily adapted to a paper towel cover by adding length if you so desire.
