I've made Tom the T-Rex using a super chunky #6 weight yarn. This is ideal for a soft and huggable plush toy and is a pretty quick make.
The pattern is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for invisible finish.
I've made Tom using super chunky weight yarn and a 5mm (H) crochet hook. He is 11 inches tall.
The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern: slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, half double crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), invisible finish
