Description
Make a baby rattle shaped like a tomahawk for your little one's first photo shoot. These rattles make great shower gifts, photography props or accessories for baby's first Halloween costume.
Very versatile pattern. Use worsted weight yarn from your scrap basket (cotton or polyester). You can use an empty pill bottle to make the rattle or buy a rattle insert. I have also made them with a squeaker for a dog toy.
Materials you will need:
Small amounts of worsted weight yarn Size G crochet hook (cotton or polyester)
Yarn needle
Fiberfill or cotton stuffing
Small plastic baby aspirin bottle with lid (washed thoroughly) and 5-10 dried beans
