Description
While Faye was working on the craft room pockets design for Simply Crochet magazine in 2019 one of the proposed design ideas was this compact hook & notions case that could be used for holidays and travelling. I mean, who doesn't take their crochet on holiday with them?
Materials
1 x caron x pantone 100g/3.5oz (approx. 116m/127yds)
60% acrylic/20% nylon/20% merino wool - Frozen Berry
Yarn A 13-4103 (pocket front)
Yarn B 19-4044 (sml pocket front)
Yarn C 17-5034 (lower back)
Yarn D 18-2929 (upper back)
Yarn E 17-4540 (zipped pocket)
*Since first publishing Caron x Pantone has been discontinued. You can substitute with any chunky yarn equivalent. One of my crochet students recently made this using 2 strands of double knit yarn.*
Notions
6mm Hook, zip 14cm, 2 or 3 snap fasteners approx. 5-10mm in diameter
