Description
This elegant lacy shawl is created from the bottom up.

I have not included gauge because for this pattern I don’t feel that it is relevant.

I would rate this as an easy pattern. It takes a little concentration at the very beginning but once you have got started and complete the first Victorian Flowers row, it really is very easy.

I wanted to create a fine elegant look and opted for a reasonably small hook size. There is no reason why you can’t go even smaller and use a finer yarn or thread. You could use beads and white, silver, or champagne coloured yarn or thread to make an incredible bridal accessory.

There is nothing complicate about this Shawl. Apart from the yarn and hook, you will need an adequately sized yarn needle for sewing in any ends

Because this is a bottom up pattern you are free to stop at any time, when you have reached your preferred length. I recommend that you always stop on a lace row, and not after one of the flowers rows or the the 2 rows rows after. Doing so is going to make the edging instructions difficult to follow. If you have 2 clear rows of lace then you can stop without affecting the edging instructions.
