Cast-On this smaller version of the Homesteader hat to bundle up your egg-collector or soon-to-be fence climber. It's never too soon to teach the young 'uns where the eggs & bacon come from!
This fun slip stitch pattern reminds me of a rail fence. As I knit it, I remember what row I am on by knowing if it is time to set "posts" or slide the "rails" in! Ya'll will understand once you get a few rounds on your needles.
*sample "Wee" size in photos is 3/6 months. I chose to make the ribbing a contrast color, the adult size pictured is one solid color.
