Description
Hi! Welcome to the Wilfred the waffle pattern! It works up within a couple of hours and works in a variety of yarns. For this pattern i recommend going down a hook size or two than what you'd normally use to avoid holes.
For double knit yarn I'd recommend using a 2.5mm or 3mm hook
For aran/worsted weight I'd recommend a 3.5mm or 4mm hook
For a normal chunky baby yarn I'd recommend a 5mm hook
For a blanket yarn- super chunky yarn I'd recommend using a hook between 8 and 12mm, these yarns can vary quite a lot so if it's a thinner blanket yarn size down and if it's a thicker blanket yarn size up.
These are just recommendations and you may need to make adjustments depending on your tension.
