This absolutely adorable witch hat bookmark pattern gives a Halloween-y vibe to your reading!

The witch hat is made like an amigurumi, and then a chain string and tassel are added to make it a bookmark.

There really is no gauge to this pattern, but the finished witch hat is about 1 inch tall and the string is about 10 inches long. The string size is entirely customizable, so you can make it as long or short as you want.

This pattern requires knowledge of magic loops, chaining, and single crochet. It is worked in continuous rounds. It is beginner-friendly, but working with crochet thread and small hooks can be difficult for beginners, so keep that in mind if you're new to using crochet thread.

You'll need a 2mm crochet hook and about 15 yards of purple size 10 crochet thread, 1 yard of yellow size 10 crochet thread, and 1 yard of black size 3 crochet thread. You'll also need a needle (I use a sharp embroidery needle, not a yarn needle) to weave the ends in, poly-fil or other stuffing to fill the witch hat, and scissors.
