Description
Say hello to your new favourite cardigan! This crochet cardigan pattern is the perfect wardrobe staple for anyone building their crochet winter wardrobe! It's suitable for confident beginners-intermediate crocheters!
This pattern includes photos and instructions for sizes 2XS-5XL, with a made-to-measure option. My wonderful pattern testers have tested it in multiple sizes (you can see some of their pieces in the photos!).
This pattern uses US crochet terms and includes full instructions and photos for guidance. Happy crocheting <3
This pattern is for personal use ONLY the sale of either the pattern or the finished garment is strictly prohibited.
Pattern tips:
You can use a mixture of the sizing and made-to-measure instructions if you'd like to fully customise your sweater. Use the garment measurements as your guide.
The pattern is written with instructions to make stripes, like mine. You can however customise your stripe length/ create the cardigan in a full colour and still follow the pattern. Just ignore references to yarns A, B and C and continue the pattern without switching yarns.
My yarn:
Yarn A: Hobbii highland wool (col03) size 3 weight: light (4 balls)
Yarn B: Hobbii highland wool (col29) size 3 weight: light (4 balls)
Yarn C (optional): Hobbii Friends kid silk (col50) size 0 weight: lace (3 balls)
For my pink sections, I used a DK and thin mohair together to add a bit of texture to these stripes, this is of course optional and as you can see from the tension square, it doesn't affect the stitch length too much. If you want to do this too, double-check this in your tension square and adjust your sizing if necessary
