I am a mother of 2, and have been a clinical trials professional for the last 15 years. I originally learned to love all fiber arts from my Grandma. After years of being too busy to enjoy the love of crafting, I took crochet back up when my then 10 yr old started crocheting with her Gramma and Nana. I knew she'd ask me for help, so relearning crochet became a priority. I planned on using crochet as a therapy after thumb surgery when I had a stroke 2 weeks after surgery. Unfortunately I have been unable to return to work. I now use crochet to keep my mind and hands busy while slowly recovering. So far I have only been a maker, but have either made things with my own intuition or start with a pattern which I modify. I enjoy making custom items for customers, whether it's an Afghan, doll, or special request. Now I am going to branch out with pattern creation. Please message me to discuss a custom made piece.
