Cosy and warm! The super deep pockets are designed as part of the wrap. What this means it that they do not require sewing on. This can be made with the hood or without.
Deep pockets was a feature I felt a must. I wanted warmth right up to the elbow as I hate my hands half falling out of shallow pockets.
It is designed for comfort of fit.
