Description
Charles the chick has been busy trying on different eggs, ready for Easter. I've made Charles using DK weight yarn, but he looks good in Aran too (with slightly larger safety eyes and a 4mm hook) - it's a great project for stash busting and is a pretty quick make.
The pattern is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change and invisible finish.
I've made Charles using DK weight yarn and a 3.5mm (E) crochet hook. He sits just under 6 inches tall.
The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern: slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), invisible finish, (optional colour change for egg)
