This pattern can be modified to create any citrus fruit such as lemons, limes, oranges, or grapefruits by switching the colors!
For this pattern instead of a swatch, I recommend doing a test granny square. If the finished square's edges are wavy, decrease the hook size. If the finished square is curling up around the edges to form a bowl shape, increase the hook size. It is normal for the square to bowl up slightly, but should lay flat once stretched.
