This pattern is for the open Donut with a Twist or Buttocktagon sculptural cushion/ throw pillow. It produces a fun intriguing mathematical shape with a completely different silhouette depending on the angle. Two donuts are cut in half horizontally, and one half is rotated by 90 degrees (on the cut surface). It's a mesmerizing shape all on its own, but it can be made even more interesting with combining yarns into gradients or color blocks.
