Description
Timeless, comfortable, and functional, the pullover vest has been a men's wardrobe staple for decades. When I designed this handmade version, I looked to men's knits from the 1930s and '40s for inspiration. I paired a simple shape with a textured stitch and mottled color to create a piece that's classic in looks and works great in both casual and dressy-casual settings. I originally knitted this piece in a US size extra-large, then adjusted the measurements to fit men's sizes small through large as well.
Supplies:
6 balls Patons Classic Wool (100% wool; 210 yds/192 m, 100 g/3.5 oz per ball; shown in
Light Gray Marle)
US 6 circular needle (24" or longer)
Stitch holder or scrap yarn
Weaving needle
