Description
INTRODUCTION:
Yogurt drinks were my favorite growing up! We used to freeze them and then crush up the ice with a metal chopstick. Whether you liked to sip or gnaw at them, it's agreed that these
are nostalgic of our childhood!
*This giant plushie is different from the life-sized pattern. It contains several modifications so that it is proportionate.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTES:
-This pattern is available in English only in US terminology. (Click the toggle on Ribblr to switch to UK)
-This is a digital item, you will not receive a physical item in the mail.
-Measurements: 13 in. x 8 in. (33.02 cm x 20.32 cm) when using the prescribed materials.
-This pattern is intermediate level and mainly uses the single crochet stitch.
-***Please note that the felt letters will require you to cut them out using a template I have made!
-Follow me on Instagram @curiouspapaya for the latest updates!
-----
TIPS
-Use stitch markers to keep track of the beginning of each round (especially important since this fuzzy chenille yarn can make it difficult to see!)
-Use sewing pins to position parts on evenly.
-Fluff up your stuffing by pulling it apart and inserting it little by little to make your amigurumi more
even. Stuff it some more right before closing using the tips of your scissors for a firmer shape.
-Note that my jumbo patterns do not transfer to thinner yarn weights well. The dimensions will be off!
-Please note that when you cut this specific type of chenille yarn, experiencing some loose fibers is normal. If you would like, you can use a lighter to gently burn the yarn tails.
-If you are experiencing breakage when trying to pull your magic circle closed, create the starting ring with the alternative method of: ch 2, make 6 sc into the second ch from the hook.
-Use medium worsted yarn in a similar color to the pieces you are sewing together. This way, you'll experience less breakage and tangling.
-If you are experiencing your flat circle becoming a cone shape, this means your tension is too tight. Size up a hook or loosen up.
