The Joy sweater is designed to be a great beginner knit, a simple sweater, knitted in garter stitch, whilst leaving lots of room for your own creativity.
It is knitted flat, in 4 pieces, with the neckline added at the end, just before stitching up.
You could knit it in one colour for ease, use a funky self striping yarn or use this pattern to gobble up all your yarn scraps.
There is no pattern for the colour changing, so just go wild! Experiment with a little strip testing how colour changes look before you start, or not, just go for it
