Description
The namesake inspiration for Rolling Yarn: my love for roller skating! I came up with the name while making one of these cute sunflower toe guards for my own skates, et voilà! Rolling Yarn was born. And what better way to celebrate 1 year of Rolling Yarn than to share how to make toe guards for my fellow crochet-loving skaters!
This pattern includes instructions for making six variations of the toe guards: a plain/color-blocked toe guard, a sunflower toe guard, a daisy toe guard, a granny square-style toe guard, a lemon toe guard, and a smiley face toe guard! The pattern is super easy and quick to make, and uses sc, hdc, and dc stitches worked in the round, so this is perfect for a beginner or intermediate level. It is also the perfect project for leftover yarn as it requires very little yarn to complete!
I really hope you have fun crafting, and that you enjoy the pattern! If you post your projects based on the pattern on Instagram, feel free to tag me on the post (@rollingyarncrochet), I'd love to see what people make!
**Please note that this free pattern is meant for personal use only. Please do not distribute or sell the pattern. If you'd like to make a video (on Youtube, Tiktok, etc.) showing your progress, that is allowed, provided no detailed steps are shown in the video. If you would like to sell products you make following this pattern, that is also allowed (if you are a small business), but please support small and independent designers by asking for permission (you can drop me a message via my ribblr, or on my Instagram @rollingyarncrochet) and by crediting Rolling Yarn as the designer, and tagging my Instagram when you credit. Thank you!
