Red and green yarn (the size of the finished cherries will vary depending on the yarn you use). A soft, chunky yarn is the best for this item for example James C. Brett flutterby chunky (this is the yarn used for the example pictures in this document below)!
8mm eyes if using James C. Brett flutterby chunky yarn (or larger if you are using a thicker yarn). I use 6mm for the fluffy cherries.
