Time has come to introduce the morel - yet another edible forest mushroom, but now in a cuddle me forever crochet disguise!

The pattern does work with several types of yarn provided you choose the right hook - make sure the stitches are small enough for the stuffing not to be visible. The same goes for the eyes! Use the size that makes your Mushkin look how you want it to.

BUT! I do have to say that this pattern is best compatible with super bulky yarn. Light/DK and super fine yarn do not really do the cap texture justice, and the bulky yarn is hard to stuff tightly enough for the cap to be balanced without exposing the stuffing. Were I to do a jumbo one again, I'd try a 6 mm hook.

My recommendation is thus super bulky yarn, 5 mm hook and 11 mm eyes.

I would say the pattern is intermediate level, but all weird stitches and twitches are explained pretty thoroughly!
