I've made Playing Puppy using a super chunky #6 weight plush yarn. This is ideal for a big soft and huggable toy and is a pretty quick make.

The pattern is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. The pattern also includes an adjustment for making your puppy using a non-plush yarn.

I've made puppy using super chunky weight plush yarn and a 5mm (H) crochet hook. He is 11 inches long.

The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern: magic ring or chain 2 to start, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), back loop only
