Description
This flower hot pad is intricate, but not very complex to make. You will need 100% cotton yarn to make this project as a hot pad, since cotton can withstand heat. You can still make this project without cotton yarn, but it will likely melt if you try to use it as a hot pad. With a 4mm hook and medium-weight cotton yarn, this project measures 7 inches across.
If you are familiar with front post and back post stitches and crocheting mandala-type patterns, this pattern should be relatively easy for you to make. If you haven't used front post and back post stitches before, they aren't too hard to learn and are useful stitches to know. Pictures are included in the pattern for each round so you can see what the pattern looks like as you crochet.
This pattern uses FP and BP dcs, mr, ch 3 picot, dc, sc, sl st, and ch.
Please do not copy or redistribute this pattern unless you are teaching a student/students (more details on this below), and do not take credit for this pattern and claim it as your own.
You can sell the finished product as long as you credit me as the designer (a link to my shop https://ribblr.com/shop/abbys-crochet-creations for online sales, or my username Abby's Crochet Creations and, where possible, mentioning my shop on Ribblr for in-person sales). For classes that you are teaching, you may use this pattern and distribute it to your students to teach them. Since this is a paid pattern, students may NOT sell their makes from this pattern unless they've purchased it themselves.
