Description
Meet the Solar Power Jumper - the perfect introductory project to intarsia knitting that is sure to brighten up those gloomy days! Designed to have a loose, semi-cropped fit.
This project is knitted entirely flat using 6mm and 8mm needles with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn, and uses intarsia and embroidery techniques to achieve the colour work. Colour charts are included in the pattern.
This pattern is size inclusive, and has been written and tested in sizes S/M (L/XL, XXL/3XL, 4XL/5XL).
This is an intermediate level pattern, however, I have included links to youtube tutorials for the more difficult techniques to make it more beginner friendly! These tutorials are also linked throughout the pattern.
This project is knitted using 2 strands of yarn held together. You may use 1 or 2 shades of blue as your main colour (colour A/B). If you choose to use 2 shades of blue, hold 1 strand of each colour.
