The Summer Dreams Baby Blanket pattern features a unique, “on the bias" construction (AKA corner-to-corner) and shifting stitch patterns that give both these blankets modern interest, texture and dimension. All while keeping things light and fresh with a simple lace pattern and DK weight yarn.

The finished size of the baby blanket pictured is about 26in wide x 36in long (65cm x 92cm) as written but instructions for altering the blanket to any size are included in the pattern. Since you grow this blanket from corner to corner, the size and shape possibilities are endless!

This pattern calls for category 3, DK weight yarn and 4mm knitting needles long enough to accommodate 118 stitches. Knowledge of basic knit stitches as well as increases and decreases are helpful for this pattern.
