The Crisscross Ribbed Sweater is a seamless, drop-shoulder sweater design worked from the top down. A quick 4 stitch repeat makes the design easy to memorize for a fast knit. The pattern includes both charted instructions and written instructions for the repeat.

Available in children's sizes of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 years old with positive ease (chest circumference 27.6, 29.1, 32, 34.9, 36.4, 37, 39.3 inches).

Gauge: 22 x 30 = 4 x 4 inches.

Yarn: Sandnes Garn Double Sunday (50g = 118 yards) or equivalent DK weight yarn. You will need 221, 267, 335, 398, 433, 459, 513 grams or 523, 631, 790, 940, 1022, 1083, 1210 yards.

Needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) needles and 4.0 mm (US 6) needles. You will need 24 or 32 inch circular needles for the body and double pointed needles or length desired for magic loop method for the sleeves. The neck is worked on 3.5 mm (US4) needles in 16 inch or can be done on double pointed needles or magic loop method.

This is an intermediate pattern. You should have a basic understanding of basic knit stitches (casting on, picking up stitches, Italian Bind Off, texture patterns, etc). It introduces 2 stitch cables, which can be done with or without a cable needle.
