Description
The Forestière pullover features round yoke with the lace leaves pattern around the neck. The pullover is worked in the round top down on circular needles, with German short rows for back neck rise and with waist shaping at the sides of the garment. Both charts and written instructions are provided for the lace stitch pattern.
SIZES: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7, 8) with finished bust circumference 76 (86, 97, 107) (117, 127, 137, 147) cm / 30 (34, 38, 42) (46, 50, 54, 58)".
Intended to be worn 0-5 cm (0-2") of positive ease. The sample is shown in size 2, with zero ease.
YARN: Rowan Cashmere Haze (40% Alpaca, 30% Cashmere, 30% Silk, 230 m 252 yds/25 g 0.88 oz), colour 710 Rosy Hue, 80 (88, 97, 106) (117, 126, 137, 146) g / 734 (806, 896, 979) (1080, 1162, 1258, 1343) m / 803 (882, 980, 1071) (1181, 1270, 1375, 1467) yds.
NEEDLES:
3.25 mm (US size 3) circular needles 40 cm / 16" for neck edge.
3.5 mm (US size 4) circular needles 40 cm / 16" and 60 cm / 24" for working the yoke and the body.
3.5 mm (US size 4) in your favourite style for knitting in rounds of small diameter, for knitting sleeves (circular needles 25 cm / 10" or double pointed needles or 80 cm / 24" for magic loop technique).
Adjust the needle size to obtain gauge.
NOTIONS: removable stitch markers, 2 stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
GAUGE: 23 sts and 36 rounds to 10 cm / 4" in Stockinette stitch with 3.5 mm (US size 4) needles.
